Modern chemistry was one of the first industries to include environmental aspects in its strategy.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The policy of manufacturers such as the PCC Group must be based on actions that balance ecological, social, and economic factors. The chemical industry has decided to implement international and local norms and standards, as well as management systems that adjust production and sales to regulations concerning the exploitation of the natural environment. Industry has started to transform technologies into cleaner and safer ones, products undergo certification, solutions using renewable energy sources and many other ecological innovations are being applied.<\/p>\n<p>In its activities, the PCC Group also applies European and global standards that foster the philosophy of sustainable production.
